About

Children’s Ministries of Texas was begun in 2004 for the purpose of providing an organized children’s program for the annual Texas Home School Coalition Convention. Since forming this ministry we have also had opportunities to serve our community! Our goal at CMT is to reach the hearts of children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Doctrinal Statement

We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 14:16, 17, 23; 1 John 5:7).

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and on earth was true man and true God (Luke 1:26-35; Colossians 1:13-19).

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that the first man, Adam, chose to sin and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God: and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word, and deed (The Depravity of Man).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world, for all who have sinned, and for every sinner according to the Scriptures, as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe and receive Him are justified and cleansed on the ground of His shed blood (The Atonement of Christ).

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven and His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate (Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 2:1).

We believe that all who receive salvation by repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God (Receiving Eternal Life).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15).

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:21-23).
