Dear Family, Friends, Volunteers, and Prayer Warriors,
Just wanted to post an update on registration and volunteer numbers:
We have a LOT of kids coming to the conference this year, and we still need volunteers!! We don’t have 700 kids pre-regsitered, as we originally thought, but we are planning for 800!! If you are interested in helping out fill out an application as soon as possible!
We will be providing lunch for volunteers during Teacher Training. If you have any special dietary needs, you are welcome to bring a cooler with your lunch.
Please pray now for the children we will be working with! We are praying for our volunteers too!
*Note* Applications ARE still being processed–however slowly–as we are making sure that our volunteers are TOP NOTCH. If you’re sending in an application, make sure your pastor’s name and number are correct, as we will be calling him!

GUESS WHAT?????
Are you ready???
Brace yourself…
This is the biggest CMT news since last year when we told you this kind of CMT news!!!!!!!!!!!! Why it’s bigger than your first tooth!!!!!! Bigger than your 4th birthday, bigger than the time you got socks for Christmas and almost bigger than when the guys broke our money scale last year during the Penny March. (Well, ok, maybe not THAT big, but still, it’s BIG!!!!!)
Ok…so…
This time last year we had 489 children pre-registered to attend the Children’s Program.
This year…
We already have…
700 children have pre-registered to attend this year’s Children’s Program and online registration is STILL open until next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, that being said, we REALLY need you to volunteer for this incredible weekend!!!!!!! Please pray about joining our team for three days filled with ministry, bonding with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, having some fun with at least 700 very awesome children, and most importantly, fulfilling the charge we’ve been given to share the Word of God and plant those seeds of salvation in the hearts of so many!!!!!!!
Now, we know that this opportunity is priceless and the time you will invest in these lives could not be bought with mere trinkets, so we would never even try to do so. Hello CMT Friends!!!!
Can you believe it’s already May?? You know what that means—The 2008 Children’s Conference will be here before you know it!!!!!!!!!!!!! We’ve been working hard to get things ready for this exciting time that we are hoping you’ll share with us!!!!!! Please continue praying for us as the Lord leads our staff in all the decisions that have to be made for the year’s conference.
Here are a few updates and things you’ll want to know about this year’s Children’s Program:
This year we are so excited to announce that our theme for the 2008 Children’s Program is the Victory Voyage!!! We’ll be looking into the life of Paul and his voyage as a prisoner, learning lessons about faith, and exploring truths in God’s Word as we travel the high seas, where adventure is waiting at every hand!!! Our staff is already praying for each volunteer the Lord will send our way!!!!!!!! You can be in prayer as well about joining our team of volunteers August 14th-16th 2008 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriot Hotel and Convention Center!!!!!!!!!! This is a great way to minister to homeschooling families and an amazing opportunity to change lives by leading little souls to Jesus!!!!
EXCITING new development: Our volunteer application is now up and running!!!!!!!!!! I know you won’t want to waste a single minute before you race to the volunteers page and fill one out!!!!!! The application is of course a requirement for working with CMT, so fill it out today!
