Join us for our annual THSC Children’s Conference Friday and Saturday, August 15th-16th 2008 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.
This year we will be placing siblings of all ages together, unless specified during pre-registration.
General Information
- This year our staff is available to care for children ages 4 to 12 years.
- Children will be placed on teams with at least two leaders on each team.
- Activities will alternate between Small Group times (team time for lessons, crafts and games) and Large Group times (all teams come together for songs, scripture and skits)
- There is a mandatory lunch break. Please pick-up your child promptly. (schedule coming)
- Every year the children are invited to participate in THE PENNY MARCH, bringing their pennies for a missionary family. Competition is often between the boys and the girls to see who can bring the most!
- We ask that you do not send food and/or snacks with your child. Our staff is not permitted to give the children any food, except in cases of health issues. Please note these health issues on the registration form.
- If your child shows any sign of illness, we ask that you refrain from bringing him or her to the conference. If your child becomes ill while attending our program, a volunteer nurse will care for him or her and you will be contacted immediately. On the registration form, please give us an emergency number where you can be reached, preferably a cell phone number.
Security Information
- It is imperative that you sign in at your team station each time you drop off and pick up your child.
- For your child’s safety, we can not allow you to pick-up your child during the Large Group sessions. (schedule coming)
- For security purposes, please be sure that you and your child wear your badge at all times.
