Volunteers
With the potential for 800 children, we need a ton of volunteers!! So if you are looking for an exciting way to serve, you have come to the right place!
Join us for our annual Children’s Conference Thursday (Volunteer Training), Friday and Saturday, July 29-31, 2010, at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.
Job Descriptions
Moms:
- Registration – If any moms are available after teacher training on Thursday evening for CMT early registration, please let us know!!
- Section leaders
- Wisdom Walk
- Nurse’s aid
- Craft distributions
- Special Needs Team
Team Leaders: (young adults ages 16 and up)
- Small Group Leader
- Large group supervisor
- Responsible for approximately 15 children
- Responsible for lesson plans (curriculum & teacher training provided)
- Teach crafts, and meet the individual needs of the children on your team
Team Assistants: (young adults ages 14 and up)
- Small Group Assistant
- Large group assistant.
- Support the team leader
- Minimize distractions
- Assist with crafts
- Meet the individual needs of the children on your team
Runners:
This year we are making a change in the runner position. Runners may not be in a specific age range as in previous years. Since runners have such a huge responsibility, we will be choosing them based on their reputation and previous year’s performance.
Prayer Warriors:
If you are unable to attend or help, please lift up this conference and every worker and child to the Lord for His blessing, strength and peace. Pray that the Lord will begin working in the heart of every child that attends the conference. Prayer truly is the work, and we must constantly appeal to the Lord for each individual.
Volunteer Training
Teacher Training for CMT 2010 will be at 1:00 pm in the Woodlands Waterway Marriott, Ballrooms 1-3. Dinner will be provided. We expect to be finished by 6:30 pm. All those who sent in applications are required to attend.

- Decorating your assigned team station
Registration Training:
- Special security training
- General guidelines and paperwork procedures
- Meeting and greeting parents and children
